Advocacy and Representation

We are the voice of small producers in dialogue with the institutions that shape the wine sector in the Republic of Moldova—including the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Ministry of Environment, the National Vine and Wine Office, the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture, the National Agency for Food Safety, and other governmental authorities, including those responsible for certification and control.

We constantly participate in consultations, working meetings, and discussions about regulations and the sector’s annual plans, ensuring that the interests of our members are heard and understood.

We are also actively involved in collaboration with international partners and donors, striving to create an equitable and favorable environment for the development of every winery in our community.

The equipment, available for rent at a preferential cost to association members, covers several processes in the winemaking and signature wine creation workflow, including:

  • Barrel filling tools and washing machines (pressure and steam)
  • Filtering equipment
  • Bottle washing units and manual rinsing machines
  • Bottling equipment and corking/screw-capping machines
  • Specific production equipment: freezer for sparkling wine bottle necks
  • Equipment for commercial preparation: polylaminate capsule applicators, sparkling wine capsulators, semi-automatic labeling machines
  • Outdoor event equipment: tents, umbrellas, refrigerators
  • Professional utensils for tastings and presentations: glassware, ice buckets, pourers, tablecloths
  • Prin gestionarea comună a acestui parc tehnic, facem procesul de producție mai accesibil, eficient și adaptat nevoilor fiecărui membru din comunitate.

Network of Specialists

The “Signature Wine” Community brings together experienced professionals in viticulture, winemaking, oenology, and technical consulting—specialists who, subject to their availability, can offer support and guidance to members when a specific need arises.

This community functions as an open collaborative space where questions often find answers, and challenges can be discussed and analyzed together. While support is not guaranteed for every situation, we gladly facilitate the connection between members and the right specialists, ensuring that information and experience circulate as easily as possible.

Through technical conversations, thematic meetings, and experience exchanges, we contribute to the professional growth of producers and the development of a community where we learn from each other and advance together.

Shared Branding and Visibility in Promotional Campaigns

The “Signature Wine” Association owns the visual identity and the protected “Vin de Autor” trademark, which members can utilize to strengthen their image and establish a coherent, trustworthy market presence. The common brand helps us communicate uniformly and increases the visibility of signature wines every year.

Alongside the visual identity, we develop promotional campaigns across social media and the press, collaborate with influencers and journalists, and organize tastings, media activations, and events where we present members’ wines to the right audience.

We participate in important projects and events such as Moldova’s National Wine Day and premium events like RO-Wine, “Meet the Moldova Wine,” and Vernisajul Vinului, generating coverage in the local and international press.

Throughout the year, we run community-dedicated features and campaigns—from producer stories and wine recommendations to promoting competition results and major launches. We supplement these actions with online advertising campaigns, press releases, and media collaborations that amplify members’ visibility.

Through all these initiatives, we contribute to building a powerful shared image that highlights the authenticity, quality, and diversity of signature wines from Moldova.

Joint Promotional Programs – Local and International

Every year, we develop a comprehensive list of domestic and international events dedicated to promoting signature wines. We actively participate in specialized fairs, exhibitions, festivals, and presentations to showcase the work of our members and increase the visibility of the small producer segment—the creators of signature wines.

Together with our partners, we ensure the necessary equipment is present at events—tents, umbrellas, professional glassware, refrigerators, and other utensils—to guarantee that our community’s representation is professional and attractive.

In addition to offline activities, we organize dedicated online promotional campaigns for members under the “Vin de Autor” brand umbrella, ensuring communication that is coherent, modern, and consumer-centric.

Through these actions, we contribute to increasing the visibility of signature wine both in the local market and among international audiences.

Support for Wine Competition Participation

We encourage and support our members’ participation in the most important international wine competitions, where the work of small producers is appreciated and recognized year after year. We collaborate closely with the National Vine and Wine Office (ONVV) and other institutions to facilitate access to prestigious competitions in Germany, Canada, Great Britain, France, Japan, Romania, and other relevant markets.

We ensure continuous updates regarding the competition calendar, participation conditions, deadlines, and support opportunities offered by the ONVV and other support organizations or partners.

We are involved in the processes of coordination, registration, and consolidated sample delivery, allowing members to concentrate on what they do best—creating memorable wines.

In addition to international competitions, we also promote participation in national contests organized during the National Wine Day, such as “Best Viticulturist of the Year” and “Most Skilled Oenologist of the Year,” occasions through which our community celebrates its professionals.

Regardless of the destination or format, our objective remains the same: to create as many opportunities as possible for signature wines from Moldova to be seen, appreciated, and awarded globally. The results are consistent: year after year, Association members gain more medals, confirming the quality and potential of signature wine from Moldova on the international stage.

Specialized Professional Training

We constantly invest in the professional development of our members, ensuring that every producer has access to the knowledge and competencies necessary for a solid career path in viticulture and winemaking. With the support of strategic partners, we organize varied training programs, led by local and international experts, adapted to both technical needs and management and compliance requirements.

We provide seminars, training sessions, and practical field workshops dedicated to all stages of the process—from vineyard care and modern winemaking techniques to maturation, bottling, and quality control.

We organize training focused on hospitality and excellence in wine service, enabling every member to offer a professional experience to visitors and consumers.

We also pay special attention to legislative components: training on safety techniques, legal obligations of operators, first aid provision, certification, registration, and reporting procedures, as well as rules concerning labor relations between employer and employee.

To complement local activities, we facilitate study visits to wineries and wine regions in Moldova and other countries with established traditions—such as Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, and Portugal—to encourage the exchange of experience and the adoption of international best practices.

Through all these programs, we contribute to the continuous development of members and the increasing level of professionalism within the “Signature Wine” community.
