Produced from grapes selected by Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested and sorted by hand from their own vineyards, located in southeastern Moldova. The little winemaker Ilie Gogu made this wine what makes a brilliant poet out of words - a true figure of style! A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Saperavi. It is the third edition of Exceptional Metaphor and there is no greater compliment for a winemaker who keeps the quality of signature wines for several years in a row. A full-bodied and intense wine, both in color and aroma. The metaphor sells faster than it appears, and auctions with this wine have been observed on the internet, just like in the case of antique shops. This is how an author's wine must be: good and little! If you find it for sale, take it, you may not have a second chance. Matured in French oak barrels for 15 months.

Strong roots determine the appearance of quality grapes, worthy of turning into a select wine. Like the roots, the creator of the wine always finds the balance between traditions, the experience of the ancestors and new technologies to obtain a unique product. It is this feature that gives Gogu Winery wines character and delicacy. In each glass is concentrated the centuries-old tradition, which has its roots from several generations in the past and offers you the most valuable creation of them.
The history of the "Gogu Winery" winery begins 4 generations ago in the Gogu family. The founder of the winery, Ilie Gogu, is a winemaker by inheritance, who brought to life the dream of his ancestors. After starting managing the family business, he invested considerably in vineyards and technologies to obtain quality artisanal wines. It should be mentioned that Ilie is known to a greater extent not as a businessman, but as a valuable winemaker. Before founding the family business, Ilie went through a difficult journey, which began with specialized studies in wine technology and continued with 10 years of experience as chief technologist at one of the largest wine companies in Moldova.
Under Ilie's supervision, the long process of creating wine takes place – from planting vines and harvesting grapes to bottling. He follows each stage of production and makes every effort to obtain a select, high quality product.
The vineyards of the winery are located in the most suitable wine-growing area in Moldova - southeast of the country. Every year, increasing the areas with vines, Gogu Winery follows the main rule – the production of selected, quality and exclusive wines. For this reason, the number of bottles produced is usually limited.
Since its launch in 2014, Ilie's wines have immediately received the highest appreciation from national and international experts. Thus, the wines were awarded gold medals at the Asia Wine Trophy, Berliner Wine Trophy, Mundus Vini, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the International Wine Contest Bucharest.
