”Everyone wants to become big; I, on the contrary, chose to be a small producer, but of a very high quality.” Andrei Novak

Novak is a new look upon traditional winemaking in the southern region of Moldova, which combines traditions and innovative technologies, the trend of high quality in each glass produced. The wines produced by the winery are distinguished by a deep, intense taste and a rich bouquet in the best traditions of the Old World.

Novak Vineyards are located in Comrat, Tarta and Chobalakchia, Cantemir region. Here we have both classic varieties, for example Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malbec, as well as traditional varieties Rara Neagra, Feteasca Regala and others. We should also mention the rebirth of forgotten varieties such as Alb de Onitcani and Floricica, varieties that some experts considered lost in history. Novak wines immediately attracted attention due to the unique variety "Alb de Onitcani", which conquered all those who tasted it.

The winery processes 2-3 thousand tons of grapes per season and produces up to 3 thousand tons of wine in the assortment. The company's staff often experiments with different types of yeast, which laid the foundation for the experimental laboratory and later for the Novak winery. In the production of wines according to the red method, the seeds are separated from the grapes, which eliminates the bitterness and makes the wine taste softer. Fermentation takes place in three stages, and winemakers try to extract as much wine from the grapes as possible.

Old traditions in the south of the country, new technologies, creative ideas and brave experiments have led to the emergence of a new winery, already beloved throughout the country and recognized for its unique and outstanding wines.
